In February 2014, the new $82 million residence hall at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) broke ground. The 220,000 sq. ft., eight story facility is scheduled to be finished in only 19 months just in time for the start of the 2015 school year. The hall will provide housing for 600 students and has 150 suite style rooms with a living room and bath for 4 students. The main building feature a fitness facility,common meeting rooms, and new offices for the Residence Life Administrative Department.

Each floor of the hall will have a kitchenette, and a computer room, gaming room and a common living room and alcoves for studying.
