Fage Yogurt – Johnstown, NY
In 2006 when Fage Yogurt decided to build a factory in upstate NY it appeared to be a bold move. The Greek company had produced a niche market here in the US, but the general population had never heard of the brand and more than likely couldn’t pronounce the name.
The bet turned out to be a huge success. Fully operational in 2008, this plant serves the entire US market of Yogurt Lovers. In fact the plant is currently undergoing an expansion program to generate 160,000 tons of yogurt annually.
